The Gathering Place Ministries, LLC
Introduction
The Gathering Place Ministries, LLC was conceived in July of 2014, as of January 2020 we became a 501 c3 Organization. Bobby Walthour Jr, is our Senior Pastor and Chief Executive Officer. We have several facets that comprise our Non-profit. Our Ministry, The Gathering Place Ministries, The Gathering Place Academy (circa 2021) our education vehicle, and The Gathering Place Ministries, LLC which is our fiduciary agent and powerhouse. Fitly joined we are able to carry out our outreach, education, and spiritual missions locally and globally.
Our Mission
The objective is to educate 60 young people, starting from ages 3-18. The goals is to provide, enhance, and increase learning opportunities for these age groups in reading, math, English, science, and social skills. This will be accomplished through our childcare programs for students 3-5, Afterschool, day camp, and summer camp enrichment programs for youth ages 6-14. Our students 15-18 will participate in our Career Pathways program to teach measurable job readiness skills, provide job opportunities, and on the job training through partnerships with local businesses and companies. We also provide ASVAB tutoring and support for students seeking to enter the Military.
