Education Department
Our Education Department is comprehensive and inclusive of disciples of all ages.
Each of our Ministries work together to strengthen our church family and the surrounding community by encouraging them to develop a deeper relationship with God through Liturgical Dance,
Theatre, Bible study, Prayer, and other activities.
Our Mission
The Gathering Place Ministries is a place where Believers young and young at heart can experience a personal relationship with God without the
traditions and restrictions of religion.
Our goal is to provide an atmosphere where everyone regardless of ethnicity, race, age, gender orientation, or sexual orientation can experience
and feel the love of God.
Our outreach agenda includes Men, Women, Boys & Girls of all ages. .
The Gathering Place Academy wants children ages 1-18 to be able to recognize God in every aspect of their lives.
We do this by providing education and enrichment that will strengthen the
wholistic Youth.
As Stewards of God’s Kingdom, every aspect of our existence is
of God, by God, and for God.
We want to foster Self-Awareness, Self-Esteem, Self-Love, and
Stewardship for God’s Kingdom in every area and in all ages.
Youth
The Gathering Place Academy provides:
After-school for ages 5-13, Daycare for ages 2-5, and
Summer Camp for ages 5-13.
Young Adults
We also provide General Education Diploma classes
for young adults 16-up.
It is the goal of this department to provide education and enrichment in all areas.
Adults
If you are in need of career and college counseling, job training and work ready skill you are able to seek
assistance in through our Gathering Place Academy.

BWJ Institute of Leadership Development
The Bobby Walthour Jr. (BWJ) Institute of Leadership development teaches the concepts of having a spiritual relationship with God. With emphases on cultivating a deeper personal relationship with Him in leaders. We believe it is important for leaders to teach believers how to develop their
personal relationships vs the religiosity of church.

Our goal is for leaders to be able to teach authentic worship, taking worship past the levels of the common
traditions of church and Ministry.
